Proctor & Shaw has designed the extension of the Stone Brick House in London, United Kingdom.

Stone Brick House's extension celebrates low-carbon stone brick construction, demonstrating how innovative design can elevate the London terrace house extension typology.

The brief for the extension included creating more space for entertaining and relaxing, with references to airy Majorcan villas for inspiration.

"Utzon's Can Lis house became a key precedent and we sought to achieve a purity to the architectural design with deep reveals to openings, material restraint, and statement furniture," said Proctor & Shaw.

All these elements come together in the principal rear kitchen dining space; volumetric generosity, high levels of natural light and serene craft to create a powerfully tranquil space.
