Cuaik | CDS has designed the interiors of W Apartment in Mexico City, Mexico.

W Apartment is a 1,030-square-metre residence in Mexico City where the boundary between architecture and art is not negotiated – it is dissolved.

Designed across two levels and a rooftop, this project operates as a single composed system: wood-slat walls, a sculptural brass staircase and large-scale works conceived by the studio's in-house art practice in direct relationship with the space.

"Every material decision, every piece of furniture, every light source was chosen in relation to the whole," said Cuaik.

The result is a home measured not in square metres, but in the quality of stillness it makes possible.
