Happy New Year! Continuing our review of 2008, most popular in October was Top of Tyrol, a mountain-top viewing platform above a glacier by Innsbruck architects Astearchitecture.

Number two was Corpus 2.0 by Marcia Nolte, a set of seven portraits illustrating how the human body could adjust itself to the design of products, including a hole in the lips for smokers (above).

In third place was Villa 1, a woodland house in the Veluwe Zoom area near Arnhem in the Netherlands designed by architects Powerhouse Company.

Fourth was the Michael Schumacher World Champion Tower by architects Chris Bosse and Tobias Wallisser of Laboratory for Visionary Architecture Asia Pacific (LAVA).

Architect Asif Khan's West Beach Cafe at Littlehampton in England was the fifth most-viewed.
