Ten top brands presented a number of newly released products during Milan design week, including a sound-dampening, single-person work pod that can be easily packed away and a bench made from aluminium that takes cues from the appearance of pasta.
Milan design week took place from 17 to 23 April and is the world's most important design event, featuring shows and events in hundreds of venues across the city's multiple design districts. For a list of events that took place over the course of the week, visit Dezeen's dedicated digital guide.

Reva Cocoon comes in long, corner and chaise modules in either standard or high-back versions for added privacy.
Designers Philip Bogaerts and René Vullings worked with office furniture brand Bogaerts to create a portable, fold-up work pod that creates a soundproof, single-person work booth.
Mono has a range of optional components, including standing height desks and double width seats, all affixed with a fold out cantilevered desk. A cut-out handle and two wheels mean it can be manoeuvred as required.
Bello! is composed of nearly 90 per cent recycled and 100 per cent recyclable aluminium, and comes in both bright and neutral colours.
Australian designer Ross Gardam has created a statement lighting piece that has the dynamism of a kinetic sculpture.

Designer Selma Lazrak took cues from Moorish and Moroccan architecture and landscapes for the design of this table, which is made from solid walnut timber.
