Balbek Bureau has designed a tattoo studio in Kyiv's historic neighborhood of Podil for a Ukrainian artist.

For the founder of the studio, an essential part of her work is her love for art. This is why every design element of 6:19's interior is an art object.

Pursuing the concept of minimalism, Balbek Bureau opened up space and focused on each detail, turning it into an artefact. Using clean lines, simple shapes and a monochrome palette with just enough artistic touches to make an accent, to keep it unique. Simplicity is the ultimate goal and the highest form of complexity.

This project has been longlisted in the leisure and wellness interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
