Matthew Williamson
British designer Matthew Williamson is founder of interior design studio Matthew Williamson Design.
Williamson began his award-winning career in fashion, launching his eponymous brand in 1996. Notable projects include his Electric Angels collection which debuted at London Fashion Week, worn by Kate Moss and Helena Christensen, setting the tone for his signature aesthetic of bold colour and pattern. Over two decades, he has collaborated with brands including Bulgari, Coca-Cola, H&M, The Rug Company and Smythson.
Since pivoting to interiors, Williamson has developed homeware collections including collaborations with Ruggable and British retailer John Lewis, alongside residential and commercial projects.
In 2024, he was named Andrew Martin international interior designer of the year.
