Lucas Muñoz is an artist and designer based in Madrid.

His practice examines how objects, spaces, and systems of production shape inhabited environments. Muñoz co-founded the Madrid-based studio En Pieza! before becoming part of the collaborative community of Sectie C in the Netherlands.

Last year, Muñoz created a cafe entirely from materials salvaged from an abandoned hotel for Design Mumbai. Other works include, a converted 1960s office into an offbeat furniture showroom and a bulbous chair crafted from industrial steel ventilation pipes and a copper seat taken from a scrap yard.
