Zandra Rhodes
Dame Zandra Rhodes is a British fashion and textile designer recognised for her distinctive and colourful hand-drawn prints.
Trained in textile design at the Royal College of Art, she launched her own label in 1969 and is known for revolutionizing the fashion industry as a trailblazer in fusing the craft of screen-printing and fashion design.
With an active career spanning five decades, her designs and bold fashion collections are housed in leading museum collections around the world including the V&A and the Museum of Modern Art.
In 2020, the designer released a 26-piece collection for Swedish furniture retailer IKEA, including a pink and ruffled redesign of the brand's iconic Frakta bag.
