Charged Voids has designed the Chandigarh University D6 student hub in Mohali, India.

Chandigarh University D6 is a 94,000-square-foot multi-program student hub within a 23-acre campus in Mohali.

Serving over 7,000 students, this project consolidates a library, cafeteria, guest accommodation and gathering space – originally planned as three separate buildings – into one vertically stacked form.

Two rotated triangular prisms interlocked with a cuboid create a central courtyard, terraces, multiple approaches and no singular front or rear.

Aligned with the campus axis and amphitheatre, the open ground floor allows movement through and beneath the building, making D6 a permeable connector for everyday campus life.
