Xưởng Xéphas designed the interiors of An Miên Lumiere Cafe in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
An Miên Lumiere Cafe reinterprets the industrial roasting workshop within a contemporary urban context.
The design centres on the language of steel – cold and reflective – using layered galvanised mesh to envelope the space.
Warm light filters through polycarbonate, reflecting off metal surfaces to create soft, diffused layers that temper the material's coldness.
As a result, this project explores how industrial materiality and the rhythm of production can be perceived through a sensory dialogue of light and emotion, transforming a raw factory aesthetic into a shifting spatial experience.
