Kooo Architects has converted a seven-storey building into a guesthouse with industrial-style frosted glazings in Guangzhou, China.

The modern renovation project targets a young generation in the old residential town of Guangzhou city.

The studio has made use of the existing condition of the building and redesign it with minimum alterations.

This project has been longlisted in the rebirth project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
