Levi's

Jacquard by Google is a universal tag and wearable platform that fits in clothing, footwear or accessories.

Google's hardware innovation lab ATAP (Advanced Technologies and Projects) has designed the gadget, which can power garments with gesture sensors.

In 2017 Google launched the first version of a Levi's jacket powered by Jacquard, which is one of ATAP's main technologies.

Google has developed a universal tag that enable brands to seamlessly integrate advanced technology into their products without changing their designs.

The innovation lab has collaborated with fashion brands Levi's, Saint Laurent and Adidas.

This project has been longlisted in the wearable design project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
