Jo Barnard is founder and creative director of London-based design agency Morrama where she crafts user-focused products and packaging design.

Morrama’s approach combines storytelling, materials and thoughtful engineering, with recent projects including headphones crafted from agricultural packaging waste and a packaging redesign including a reusable pump for soap brand Kankan.

Alongside her work at Morrama, Barnard champions environmental responsibility in design as co-founder of the not-for-profit Design Declares.

She is also a former Associate Lecturer of Design Futures at the Royal College of Art and the recipient of the 2025 Dezeen Bentley Lighthouse Award.
