Turner Works has designed Florentia Village in London, United Kingdom.

Situated in the Harringay Warehouse District, Florentia Village seamlessly weaves the new into the old, breathing fresh life into a historic campus that now flows into a striking 100,000-square-foot light-industrial extension, creating a unified space.

"First established in the 1970s as a hub for garment manufacturers, Florentia has since evolved into a creative powerhouse, with businesses across food, design, film, photography, music and more," said Turner Works.

"The challenge was how to extend a much-loved village without losing its distinctive spirit. "

Designed around communal yards and connected by raised walkways, the scheme is a playful take on traditional warehousing.

Targeting BREEAM Excellent and net-zero in use, this project sets a new benchmark for high-quality, long-life, loose-fit industrial design.
