Massimiliano Fuksas

Roman-born architect Massimiliano Fuksas leads, alongside Doriana Fuksas, international architectural practice Studio Fuksas.

The global practice, with offices spanning Rome, Paris and Shenzhen, is known for its flowing, theatrical parametric designs which aim to be a departure from geometric shapes that determine the form of the majority of buildings.

Recent projects include a dramatic all-white stage design for Tosca and Turandot. Other notable projects include Shenzhen airport terminal, Rome convention centre and Fiera di Milano, which is home of the Salone del Mobile furniture fair.

Fuksas has received numerous awards and recognitions including the Légion d’Honneur of the French Republic, and is an honorary fellow of both the American Institute of Architects and of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
