Tawanda Chiweshe
Tawanda Chiweshe is a London-based artist and co-founder of YY, a design and research office working across creative direction, graphic design and industrial design.
Originally from Zimbabwe, Chiweshe graduated from Central Saint Martins – his work bridging the gap between high-concept art and utilitarian design.
Chiweshe previously served as co-creative director of design practice Alaska Alaska founded by former Dezeen Awards judge, the late Virgil Abloh. Working closely with Abloh, previous projects include IKEA's Markerad and Vitra's Twentythirtyfive.
