Dezeen Music Project: From Gold (remix) by Ketan Jogia

London producer Ketan Jogia has remixed Welsh folk singer Novo Amor’s track From Gold, augmenting the lush, Bon Iver-like vocals of the original song with more punctuated bass and percussion. A great summer track.

Dezeen Music Project: Blue Room by Yodashe

This experimental pop song by London artist Yodashe is very musically ambitious, combing glitchy beats with brash, dissonant vocal harmonies in a free-flowing arrangement. But the key is the variety of catchy melodic hooks, which pop up in unexpected places and keep the track engaging throughout.

Blue Room won't make easy background music, but listen carefully and there's lots to enjoy.

Dezeen Music Project: Never Get Close by The Slow Revolt

This electronica-tinged track by London producer and singer The Slow Revolt has a wonderfully effortless charm that belies the tight structure and attention to detail evident throughout. Understated and unassuming, the song achieves the feted balancing act of feeling both fresh and familiar at the same time.

The track is currently available as a free download ahead of its official release on the Fields record label.
