Material brand Sustonable has released a range of stone-effect surfaces that is 100 per cent recyclable.

Sustonable surfaces are available in various patterns and colours that can be applied to kitchen worktops, vanity tops, wall panels and furniture.

The Sustonable surfaces were featured on Dezeen Showroom this week, alongside an acoustic lamp with sound-dampening qualities and a cantilevered swivel chair designed as a contemporary take on mid-century lounge chairs.

Dutch design brand De Vorm has created the Fost Bulb PET Felt acoustic pendant lamp, which creates a sound-dampening effect whilst illuminating the space.

The lamp's PET Felt lampshade has a circular shape with a ribbed surface made from recycled plastic bottles.

Originally designed by Mel Smilow in 1950, design studio Smilow Design has relaunched the Slatted Tea Cart in an expanded choice of woods.

With two levels of shelving and wheels on all four legs, the cart can serve as a tea trolley, a bar, a side table or a shelf for glasses.
