Caravannex

The Caravannex is mobile architecture in action.
Caravan + annex; the dwelling is designed to holiday away then return home to become a natural architectural extension of a house or building, making it useful all year round.

A transforming interior is the key to unlocking many possibilities for use. Functional zones appear and disappear to create different facilities such as office, lounge, bedroom, studio or self-contained caravan for four when away.

Design and material engineering provide a seamlessly changeable interior. Clean lines and hidden corners belie its 10sq meter footprint, and offer a warm and inviting place to dwell.

This project has been longlisted in the small interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
