Face Stool
by Studiomama

Design by Studiomama - Photography by Dennis Pedersen

Each stool is composed of a variety of different offcut woods, making each stool unique, with its own "face" personality and character

As part of Studiomama's ongoing exploration of sustainability, the studio has been looking at how to make use of waste material from different kinds of waste streams at global and local levels.

Whilst working with Benchmark, they saw there were beautiful offcuts of wood. Studiomama loved the idea of how these random offcuts could come together to make something unique every time. It was at this point that the Face Stools were born.

This project has been longlisted in the seating design category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
