Manuelle Gautrand
French architect Manuelle Gautrand is founder of eponymous practice Manuelle Gautrand Architecture.
Gautrand is known for creating bold and innovative buildings that challenge conventional boundaries. Notable projects include the Cité des Affaires office building, the Forum of Saint-Louis and the Lille Métropole Musée d'art moderne, d'art contemporain et d'art brut.
Gautrand was named commander in the French Order of Arts in 2023 and was the first woman to receive the European Prize for Architecture in 2017.
She is actively involved in public service and institutional roles, serving as a member of the National Council for Works of Art in the Public Space and the French Academy of Architecture.
