Zeph Chair by Herman Miller among new products on Dezeen Showroom

Dezeen Showroom: a colourful office chair with a sculpted seat informed by mid-century design is among seven new products on Dezeen Showroom.

Zeph Chair by Herman Miller

Created by office furniture brand Herman Miller in collaboration with design group Studio 7.5, the Zeph Chair features a sculpted mono-shell seat that was informed by the mid-century Eames Shell Chair.

The office chair is available in a choice of eight bold colours and can be customised in upholstery, either with a seat pad or a fabric piece that covers the entire front of the shell.

The Zeph Chair was featured on Dezeen Showroom this week, alongside a kitchen island with a cantilevering bamboo table and a sculptural freestanding bathtub.

Artematica Soft Outline kitchen island by Gabriele Centazzo for Valcucine

Designed by Gabriele Centazzo, founder of kitchen brand Valcucine, Artematica Soft Outline is a kitchen island that features metal edges with a rounded profile.

The island unit is paired with a bamboo counter, which has a 30-degree chamfer at the perimeter designed to give it a lighter appearance.

RYO bathtub by Pierre Neirinckx for Vallone

RYO is a sculptural freestanding bathtub with a rounded shape that chamfers towards the base, designed by Belgian designer Pierre Neirinckx for bathroom brand Vallone.

The bathtub has a matte white surface made from a biobased mineral casting material that gives it a continuous finish.

The Renaissance tile collection by Spanish tile brand Estudio Ceramico takes cues from traditional hydraulic tiles that were popular in 19th and 20th century Spain.

Heracleum III light by Bertjan Pot for Moooi

Dutch designer Bertjan Pot has designed the third iteration of the Heracleum light for Moooi, which now features new controls and dimmable technology.

Taking its name from a genus of herbaceous plants, the Heracleum lights are available in vertical, linear or circular arrangements of translucent leaf-shaped tabs that emit LED light.

Heritage wall mirror by Studio Seitz

Created by founders of Swiss design brand Studio Seitz, the Heritage wall mirror has a solid wood frame with 16 geometric facets and delicate carvings.

The mirror's frame was informed by the construction of classic Alpine milking pails and is available in either a natural or ebonised finish.
