Norman Foster

British architect Norman Foster is the founder and executive chairman of Foster + Partners.

Founded by the architect in 1967, Foster + Partners describes itself as a global studio for architecture, urbanism and design, rooted in sustainability. The firm's flagship projects include the Gherkin, and the Great Court at the British Museum in London and Beijing Airport.

Recent projects include Techo International Airport in Phnom Penh, 270 Park Avenue in New York and Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi.

As president of the Madrid-based Norman Foster Foundation, Foster promotes interdisciplinary thinking and research, aiming to help new generations of architects, designers and urbanists anticipate the future.
