Dezeen is the world’s most influential architecture, interiors and design magazine.
Our mission is simple: to set the agenda for the global architecture and design community by bringing it a carefully curated selection of the best architecture, interiors and design projects and news from around the world, as well as in-depth original features, insightful opinion columns and interviews with some of the world’s most significant figures in architecture and design.
The heart of Dezeen is our content, which is produced by our award-winning editorial team and read by millions of readers around the world on our website dezeen.com and via our email newsletters.
We also share content with our highly engaged social media audience, with millions of followers across Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok. Meanwhile, our official WeChat account brings a selection of exclusive stories to our Chinese readers – all written in Simplified Chinese.
While Dezeen was born online, and most of our content and services are digital, we have a long history of print publications. The latest of these is Dezeen Dispatch, a newspaper-style publication featuring our pick of the best events, exhibitions and hotspots to visit at key design weeks around the world.

- Our Dezeen Courses and Dezeen School Shows sections enable schools to promote their courses and showcase their students’ work.
We also run an award-winning in-house creative agency called Dezeen Studio, which creates editorially led collaborations with brands and cultural institutions, producing agenda-setting digital content alongside impactful real-world projects: from bespoke films and social media content to curated talks programmes and exhibitions.
A brief company history
Dezeen was launched in November 2006 by Marcus Fairs, who ran the company together with founding director Rupinder Bhogal until his death in 2022.
In 2021, Dezeen was acquired by Danish media group JP/Politiken Media Group, which appointed Benedict Hobson and Wai Shin Li as co-CEOs of the company in 2022 following Marcus’s death.
Today, Dezeen is the most visited architecture and design website in the world with readers on every continent and offices in London, New York and Shanghai.
The Dezeen logo and our overall brand identity were designed by Micha Weidmann, as was our website up until 2026. The current site was created by Made by On based on updated brand guidelines by Weidmann.
Our site is hosted by The Positive Internet Company, whose server infrastructure runs on 100-per-cent-renewable energy.
Dezeen is accredited by the Federation of Small Businesses’ (FSB) Good Business Charter, which recognises responsible business behaviour.
