London-based designer and entrepreneur Natsai Audrey Chieza is founder of multidisciplinary design agency Faber Futures.

Chieza is internationally recognised for combining consumer biotechnology advancements with real-world applications.

In 2023, she co-founded Normal Phenomena of Life, a lifestyle brand offering biotech products using bacteria, algae, fungi, yeast, animal cells and other biological agents. Notable projects include creating a silk jacket dyed with bacteria-produced pigment.

Chieza has won multiple awards, including the prestigious London Design Medal in 2024. She spoke at a Dezeen panel discussion on material innovation during this year's Stockholm Design Week 2025.
