Olajumoke Adenowo

Nigerian architect, businesswoman and philanthropist Olajumoke Adenowo is the founder of architecture and interior design firm, AD Consulting.

The studio has completed a wide variety of projects locally and internationally ranging from institutional buildings, office complexes, mixed-use developments, auditoria, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, industrial campuses and private residences.

Adenowo received the Forbes woman African entrepreneur award in 2020 and has served as a juror for the Cartier women's initiative awards.

She is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Architects and has been a visiting professor and a guest laureate at Technische Universität München in Germany.

Olajumoke is an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy school of government, IESE business school, Yale University, MIT Sloan school of management and University of Ile Ife.

Her work has been featured in a number of papers, including “Raising the Roof: Women Architects Who Broke Through the Glass Ceiling” by Agata Toromanoff.
