Samuel Ross
British designer Samuel Ross is founder of sportswear label A Cold Wall and multi-disciplinary fashion brand Sr_a Sr_a.
Ross, who was recently appointed the artistic director of London Design Biennale 2025, projects span a solo exhibition at Friedman Benda gallery for NYCxDesign to innovative wearable objects for sportswear brand Nike and technology company Apple.
In 2023, Ross moved his focus into fine art and during Milan Design Week presented an asymmetrical, bright orange smart toilet referencing brutalist architecture for bathroom brand Kohler.
His work is in permanent collections at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
The designer founded the Black British Artists Grants Programme scheme in 2020, which has provided 50 artists with funding, connecting the next generation of talent to global institutions.
