Fran Silvestre
Spanish architect Fran Silvestre is founder of Fran Silvestre Arquitectos, which specialises in residential, cultural, corporate, and public projects worldwide.
Silvestre's studio is known for its minimalist style, drawing inspiration from Portuguese Pritzker Prize winner Álvaro Siza under whom he trained.
Recent projects include a coastal villa with zigzagging stone volumes in Andalusia and a white house which winds through the Spanish landscape in Alicante.
Silvestre has won multiple accolades, including four German Design Awards, an International Federation of Interior Architects and Designers Prize in 2022 and an IF Design Award in 2021.
Recognised globally, the architect has exhibited at international institutions such as Museum of Modern Art in New York and Museu Serralves in Porto.
