New York-based designer Joe Doucet is founder of self-named multidisciplinary design practice Joe Doucet.

Doucet's practice aims to solve societal and environmental challenges through innovative design solutions for products, furniture, and technology.

Recent projects include an innovative climate-responsive paint that changes from white in summer to black in winter and a series of modular wind turbines designed for commercial use, such as airports, offices and roadsides, which was also shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2024.

The designer has won numerous awards, including a World Technology Award for design innovation and several Good Design Awards.

Doucet's work has been exhibited globally at institutions such as Design Museum in London and the Biennale International Design in Saint-Etienne.
