Dezeen Showroom: a table lamp designed to mimic the shape of cavatappi pasta is among 17 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.

Neotenic lamp by Jumbo for Petite Friture

French design brand Petite Friture has collaborated with Brooklyn-based design studio Jumbo to launch the Neotenic lamp, which takes cues from the tightly curled form of cavatappi pasta.

The lamp's spherical glass shade and ceramic body are handmade in Portugal and come in rich colours that emulate the hues of aubergines and tomato sauce.

The Neotenic lamp was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom, alongside a modular track lighting system that uses its construction features as decoration, and a table created in the same way that traditional Buddhist statues are made.

Sculpture Casting Bronze table by Time & Style

Time & Style's Sculpture Casting Bronze table is made using a Japanese metal casting process traditionally used in the creation of Buddhist statues.

The base is characterised by its rounded rectangular void and supports an elliptical oak tabletop.

Stant lighting system by Edmondo Testaguzza for Karman

German designer Edmondo Testaguzza created the Stant lighting system for Karman, which has modules that can be used as pendant lights or in sequence to cover large spaces.

The system's construction features, including its electrical wiring, suspension wires, LED fixtures and connecting pins are all visible and come in both black and white colourways.

LXR16 sofa by Studio Truly Truly for Leolux LX

Dutch design studio Studio Truly Truly collaborated with furniture company Leolux LX to create the LXR16 sofa, which is characterised by its rounded features.

The sofa is raised slightly off the ground on short aluminium legs and has a deep seat and low-lying composition to instill a sense of relaxation.

Hybe seating collection by Form Us With Love for EFG

EFG collaborated with Form Us With Love to create its Hybe seating range, which is intended for use in both workplace and educational settings.

The collection includes chairs and two-seater tandem seating that can be enclosed on three sides into booths, which are available on casters for manoeuvrability or swivel bases.

Vertigo Fine collection by Jeffrey Ibañez for Impact Acoustic

Vertigo Fine collection by Impact Acoustic

Designer Jeffrey Ibañez and Swiss brand Impact Acoustic created the Vertigo Fine range, characterised by narrow vertical groove detailing that creates a pinstripe pattern across the surface.

The collection consists of two products – a wall panel and circular ceiling panel – both made from the brand's Archisonic felt, which is crafted from recycled plastic bottles.

DC10 chair by Inoda + Sveje for Miyazaki Chair Factory

Japanese furniture manufacturer Miyazaki Chair Factory designed the DC10 chair with design duo Inoda + Sveje to celebrate the natural qualities of wood.

The woven seat makes the chair lightweight, as does its finely carved frame that is characterised by sweeping lines and curves.

Twill chair by Gibson Karlo for Designbythem

Designbythem collaborated with Australian design studio Gibson Karlo to create the Twill chair, which is characterised by its unique legs and backrest that appear to be formed from pairs of solid wood cylinders.

"[Twill's design] was inspired by plasticine strips and the repetition seen in twill weaves," said the designers. "It creates a sense of ornament whilst creating strength in the legs and comfort in the backrest".

Hush screen by 3form

3form's Hush screen is versatile room-divider and acoustic panel that is made of 50 per cent post-consumer recycled PET plastic.

The screens are available in a range of perforated designs, including geometric patterned cut outs and natural motifs.

ZooZoo office furniture by Annie Lee for Narbutas

Workplace furniture manufacturer Narbutas collaborated with interior designer Annie Lee to create ZooZoo, a range of office furniture characterised by rounded profiles and dual uses.

The coffee table is higher than typical examples to facilitate impromptu meetings that take place in lounge areas, and the matching hollow pouf – which is the right size to be stowed beneath the table – provides seating as well as storage.

Jérémie du Chaffaut's Cadiero chair for Midi is designed to celebrate the vernacular furniture design of the Provence region of the South of France.

The Link easy chair, the product of Swedish furniture brand Stolab's collaboration with designer Dan Ihreborn, represents the "link" between the history of Swedish furniture design and its future.

The chair is characterised by its winged armrests, which reference 1950s Scandinavian furniture – "[the chair] already feels like it is a future classic", commented the brand.
