Dezeen has announced the design shortlist for this year's Dezeen Awards, which includes projects by Bocci, Kvadrat, and Fuseproject.
Shortlisted designs this year include a modular furniture system made up of upholstered squishy balls by Golem and a constellation of gloopy-looking polished resin lights by Laurids Gallée.
Also amongst the shortlisted projects are a modular sofa conceived to mimic the feeling of a warm embrace by Pearson Lloyd, and a colonnaded pavilion clad in bespoke terrazzo tiles made using the shells of local rock oysters by Besley & Spresser.
Dezeen Awards 2026 shortlists revealed this week
Dezeen Awards 2026, in partnership with Trimble, revealed all shortlisted projects this week. The architecture shortlist was announced on Monday and the interiors shortlist was announced yesterday.
The shortlisted projects were scored by our design jury, which includes designers Martin Lotti, Zandra Rhodes, Nao Tamura, James Melia, Natasha Jen and Michael Anastassiades.
"What excites me most about this partnership is watching the ideas people bring to life, and the conversations that grow around them," said Rianna Lowrance, global strategy lead for architecture and design at Trimble SketchUp.
"This year's design shortlist is proof of how much good work happens when designers are given room to explore," she added.
All the shortlisted interiors projects are listed below, each with a link to a dedicated page on the Dezeen Awards website, where you can find an image and more information about the project.
The winner of each project category will be announced live at the Dezeen Awards 2026 party on 16 November at the Royal Opera House in London. All 16 winners will then compete for the prestigious title of design project of the year.
